Overlooking the Peace
River, this popular viewpoint on the Johnston Creek trail is an ideal
spot for a lunch break. Summertime views often include Deer, Moose, and
local River Boaters enjoying the day.

Fall Fair Volunteers raise $3500.00 for the Moose
August 14,15,16 and 17th
Saw 9 volunteers from the Moose ATV Club
help the 2008 Fall Fair with their parking. These volunteers worked long
hot hours collecting money for admission into the fair, and help keep
the grounds neat and orderly. Many thanks go to Jason, Theresa, Anthony,
Bob, Miles, Larry, Glenn and Erica for their herculean efforts on behalf
of the club. These funds will come in very handy for next years capital
projects. Great job ladies and gents!!
Request from Northern Dirt Riders Association
It has been noticed that on a new registered trail
called the "Mud Creek Loop" located in the Mud Creek area, that quads
have been doing some damage to the single track trail made by the
association. This trail has been registered and those caught creating
damage to the trail could be charged under the Forestry Act. It is in
our best interest as quaders, currently in discussion to register our
own trail system, that we respect other users rights to an area. This
trail system was designed and built for the sole purpose of single track
vehicles, and quads in this area does do damage. If the trail you are
riding on does not have dual tracks, please refrain from traveling this
area. The association thanks you for respecting their trails.
